Maybach Exelero

My next victim is this German supercar unveiled at the Tempodrom in Berlin in 2005.Apart from its V-12 engine and great looks,it is an eye-catcher for its speed.......yes u got it right!IT WAS the fastest coupe in the world with a top speed of 364kph until the Bugatti caught up with it beating its top speed by 50kph(414kph)!!It has a twin turbocharged 5.9 litre V-12 engine.It looks like a batmobile!!The grille is different from the standard maybachs but it has the longgiiiiiiiiisshhhh look similar to the maybachs....But this line is to shatter all your dreams.........its a concept car!!but not 2 mention ,if it starts manufacturing commercially,it will do very well in the markets because it combines luxury and speed which is a dream on its own.

World Cup 2006

Hey guys!!! this posting is kinda out of the "car" topic but i thought i should share..........u guys might've been watching the Argentina v/s holland match yesterday(or rather 2day)..........the match ended in a goalless draw....but the other match going on was b/w Ivory Coast and Serbia&Montenegro.....this match on the other hand was worth a watch.........ESPN shows the more exciting matches whereas CCTV-1 shows the less exciting ones the latter for an example........even the front rows were empty!!But the suspense of the end result was right from the kick-off.Serb&mont scored 2 goals in the 1st half due to mistakes by the Ivory coast defence...but in the second half(47'-Aruna Dindane) CIV(iv.coast)struck from a penalty.later in that half the same man struck again(67').....And around the 85' CIV got another penalty..........both the penalties were notably hand ball's and thus the scope of arguement was ruled out..........the first hand was deliberate and the player got a yellow card..........thus CIV won 3-2...though the teams had nothing to fight for,except pride,they played for their lives literally.....I was obv. supportin CIV becoz one of my fav. players Didier Drogba plays for that team(he was on the benches in this match because of a yellow card in the earlier match).

Well........this car has a lot to be to be talked about .The most stunning feature about this car is its looks.performance is undoubtedly amazing as it is typical of Porsche cars.it has a 5.7 litre V-10 engine and the best part about it is that its a rear wheel drive-which is the trademark of a good sports car(wanna know more obout RWD and its advantage,click here). And in a small period of just 9.9 seconds it peaks a speedof 200 kph!!!It has a top speed of 330kph and max. of 612 hp @8,000 rpm.This car is the ultimate of Porsche and also the latest model which is a magnet at the major motor shows. It was unveiled as the concept car of Porsche at the Paris motor show in 2000,but in 2003 Porsche started manufacturing it commercially and now it can be driven on roads.Even after buing the car owners have lots of problems regarding the speeding tickets because of its easy acceleration and beautiful handling.......signing off 4 now...........

Aston Martin Vanquish

The dream car of a million(incl. me)-The Aston Martin.Yes.This car is the perfect blend of speed,sound,comfort,looks,technology and of course class which comes with the tag of Aston Martin .Though the car's chassis is made from lightweight aluminium and carbon fibre,it is stronger than ever made to withstand collisions at speeds close to 200mph.And guess what,like other aston martins Vanquish S is also 'hand buillt'.From the interiors to the engine(too!!!!!!),everything is manufactured by experienced craftsmen individually.It has a 6.0 litre V12 engine with 520 wild horses willing to power the engine each time the ignition is turned on.The interiors are one of the finest in the world.The gear box is a 6 speed manual/automatic/manumatic depending on the customers' wants.Most prefer manual because they get the required acceleration when wanted(which is lesser in automatic and manumatic)plus they get the full satisfaction of driving this wonder-car.......thats all 4 now.........cya

Bugatti is a total beauty of a car.The creator of this 'wonder car' was born to a silversmith, sculptor, woodcarver, painter, lapidary and metal engraver(!!! Dont think too much......they are all the same person) in 1881.Like his father he was interested in designing but unlike his father he wanted to design automobiles.And so a new hero in the world of automobiles was born.Coming to Bugatti Veyron:

Amazing facts:

• It has a W16(it means two VR8 engines together) with 4 valves per cylinder making a total of 64 valves.
• It has electronically controlled, continuously variable cam timing to create optimal performance at different engine rpm settings.
• It has 7 gears with a dual clutch system.
• It has a top speed of 250+ mph(400 kph) making it one of the fastest cars in the world.
• Its tyres are specially designed by Michelin to handle the stress at 250mph.

Mustang fever(part-I)

We all know about the "wild horse" car(thats coz mustang means wild horse from Mexico).It has caught every youngsters' eye whether it be performance or looks or interiors.Personally i like it for the sound made by the fuel guzzling 4.6 litre V8(Mustang GT) engine.surprisin ain't it?if it surprises u,read on........(even if it doesnt surprise u plz read and enhance ur knowledge).The first Mustang was manufactured in 1964(above) which was a convertible.Though it was developed more than 40 years back it had a V8 engine with 235 hp(the top model).The car was an instant hit because of its drop-dead gorgeous looks and amazing performance was breathtaking.Youths instantly fell in love with this beauty and didnt care 'bout cash.It did equally well outside the US.
(P.S.-It sold 22,000 Mustangs on the 1st day!!)


The next version of the car was a GT version launched in 1965.The next mustang was introduced in 1966(pic left).Not many major changes were made in the looks but its performance was revived.The next Mustangs came out in 1968,1971 and 1973.As the Mustang grew older
a)its resale value increased.
b)it lost the older look.
